Anticipating the burgeoning needs of this vibrant industry, the Uttarakhand Institute of Aviation Technology (UIAT) is poised to launch in 2024 with a mission to forge the next generation of AMEs equipped with world-class education and practical expertise. Our vision is to make a qualitative contribution to Human Resource Development in the Aviation Industry, staying aligned with the evolving demands of this fast-paced sector.

UIAT is designed to offer its students not just an education, but a pathway to success in the aviation maintenance field. Graduates from UIAT will find themselves well-prepared for lucrative career opportunities, primed to become Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers. With a curriculum that balances practical training with academic knowledge, our students will emerge with dual certifications: a License in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and an diploma in AME. This dual advantage opens doors to careers in approved Airlines or Maintenance Organizations worldwide and provides a solid foundation for further academic pursuits.
